Lambo Doors!!!

sup guys.. well I happen to have information on how to do the Lambo doors for a little less. I would like to try this but no experience at all when it comes to cars. Anyways, anyone who's brave enough to try and do this project, let me know and I'll e-mail you the file. I would love to do this to my CL.. aight..

BY THE WAY, MY COILOVERS ARE STILL FOR SALE... MAKE ME AN OFFER..

ROSS...

sup guys.. I agree to you all.. since Ross has the skills, I think he might be able to do this.. he could use his project CL..

Well.. this set up might just cost him may be a set of tires or cheaper.. because the door hinges that are design for vertical doors or lambo doors are not that cheap.. around 300-400 but they are way cheaper than getting it done by a body shop/performance shop where they will charge you 2000-4000..

or if you have an Integra or Civic.. DECAH has a bolt on kit for 1600.. no welding, etc.. just bolt on and very easy..

anyways.. if Ross can do this.. i'm sure he can probably give us a great deal out of this.. he can produce a kit himself..

so for those who would like the lambo doors.. I'll give this information to Ross.. anyone in here who's very close to him.. or have known him for some time? thanks..

you should just check out the decah kit for the integra/civic and see if you can slightly modify it to fit your CL

send it over here to me, and let me look at the plans.

I'm not sure what kind of metal fabricating ross does, but i've done a great deal on my hot rod.

i looked it over, doesn't seem like it'd be to much trouble. Pretty straight forward that anyone w/ any machining skills could do. Most expensive part would be the hydraulic arms. Those things are rather pricey. Esp. since you are gonna need to get a very strong one.

the problem with the cl's door ad trying to get this thing to work on a cl is that the cl's door are WAY TOO HEAVY, i dont think it is possible unless you put a ton of support, i have a friend ina body shop and he has a cl in right now replacing the door and the door he said is one heavy ass mother fucker, compare to a teg or civic door

that's why you need to get a really expensive hydraulic arm. The ones on the trunk of my suburban are rated to life like 500lbs a piece. The rear door on that car weighs like 300 lbs and they pop it up like it's fuckin tin!

ok..

customcl.. did you get my e-mail with the lambo door file? by the way.. since you work at a body shop.. does your CL have a body kit? I was wondering maybe you could do a mold and your body shop place can mass produce a kit for our CLs.. i'm sure a lot of us here would buy one.. as long it's not too wild and the price is right.. hey.. let me know if you get to do the lambo door on your CL.. wanna do this too with my ride.. thanks
