Hi all, I've been reading alot of the new and old posts for a while and learned alot. I was wondering what exactly "Premium" means. When i want to the owner's link, it said i have a 98 2.3 CL premium.
Also, the jackass that had the car before me put 15 inch wheels on it..how would one go about matching up the speedometer with the actual speed. It says I'm going faster than i am. I can't afford the obvious fix which would be to buy bigger wheels.

premium is based on seats and stuff like that i know there is an old post by dustbuster that lists all of the specs for all years, i'm pretty sure shops can calibrate your spedo so it reads correctly...

 

naw pimpin the speedo is electronic. no cable or gear to change/adjust.

u could try gettin taller tires. instead of 185.50.15's u could get 215.60's, that should come close to the actual tire size of a 16. and no u cant just get the fronts a different size. cause it will affect your breakin and abs.

 

i know they do it to trucks all the time... including my dads

 

My question is why would someone put 15's on a car that comes with 16's stock

I saw a cypress green pearl 2.2 CL with hubcaps on. The car was in bad shape. I think
it might of been CL Platano's.


My question is, since when do CL's come with hubcaps? Funny thing is that they had the
Toyota logo on them.

omg...today at work i was reading this thread...and was like hmm i sorta knew that. Then right now coming back from work, there is this one road that is small and has a lot of corners. the Max MPH is 30. Even though people dirve like 50mph though there. Anyways i was frist in line driving and was going 50mph....there was a corner coming up, i see this red saturn flash his high beams at me and wave his hand down..down... like to slow down...i was like hmm...what did i just learn today....soo i hit the brakes and slowed down to 30mph....and wouldnt you know right around that corner is a motor cop pointing the radar right at me. I was like "holly shit" and i look in my rear view mirror at him...and i see him just looking at me. *whew* thank you for whoever you are in that red saturn. and thank you for this thread.
