Isn't this interesting? Nitrous kit???

Hey all,

Ran into this about a week ago, but decided to bring it up here. The system looks legit and all and very feasible. Take a look at it yourselves. If I do get nitrous I think I'd go with something like this, not too much power just a small boost. It seems to be a very inexpensive alternative, and yet a small sleeper system.

Your thoughts wanted on this. I'm most likely gonna get one anyhow, after my car is done being rebuilt. So until then.

BTW, that guy is selling this too easily. Wonder if this thing has a patent or I'll go out and start designing my own kit. Easy money maker. Yay!! that means more mods for the CL!!!

errr seems kind of shady...I doubt it's what you would expect to get..probably comparable to those cheap home made superchargers you can buy on ebay

if retail price is 230 he wouldnt be sellin it for 50, if you do buy it you rely on him for cartridges since they arent refillable tanks.

haha, those cartridges are what they use in industrial whip cream kits. You can buy them at head shops, they are known as whippits and will give you a nice balloon full of n2o. It's not going to be enough to make any sort of difference in your car

Just looked though his feedback and he's one of those sellers who sold those resistors and bilge fans. So it may seem that this product may also be "shady."

Serious or not 50 bucks wouldn't have been bad. After my refund check comes in I will have money to burn. If it would have worked then great if not then I'll move on and at least be helpful to others.

And yes I would have to rely on him for the cartridges. But all in all it is an idea that may be feasible. All that really is required is that the nitrous/oxygen gets through the intake manifold and to the cylinders. But as far as the guarantee of safety...that may be a different issue.

Interesting...never knew that, but if you are certain of so then well so be it. Name me naive for the day

Thanks for the info. So it basically comes down to you get what you pay for.

I've seen this advertised on eBay some months ago.

Personally, I've never met anyone who owned this type of a system.

In theory, it sounds great. But, I wouldn't spend my money on it.

I doubt that little bottle would keep enough line pressure to get a full shot.

One of those little bottle will barely fill up a balloon let alone do enough to help out your car, scam

For $50, go buy Need For Speed Underground, you'll have more fun with that then you will with this nonsense.

very similiar, but these do contain n2o. They use them for catering jobs w/ whip cream, etc.

It doesn't. There isn't nearly enough NOS in the cartridges to make any sort of gains. Plus it doesn't have the same pressure as a NOS bottle so it won't push into the cylinder the same. Won't work, don't waste the money.
