Instructions on replacing window regulator

Ted asked me for instructions and i tought i would post it for everyone that needed it. feel free to criticize if i told something wrong or if i forgot something. this is just a two minute quickie

here is what mine looked like, awesome acura quality

my finger is pointing to the left bolt, there is a little hole above the right bolt next to my finger. you have to make the window go down so you can see the bolts through that hole. you need a rachet extention to get the bolt through the little hole. the bolt on the left can be accessed through the large opening on the left. these bolts hold the glass to the regulator. when you take them out the window will fall so you will need some one to hold it. when its loose you can pull it all the way up and get it out of the way.

next take out the two bolt where my finger is pointing.

next take out the two bolts on top. you have to pull the door opening handle to get the metal bar out of the way. once you get all four bolts out you have to unplug the regulator out.

and the three bolt holding the motor in place. then the whole assembly will come out.

then repeat the steps to put it back in. make sure all the bolts are back on the rail and on the motor. i forgot to put the top ones back on and had to rip the whole thing again but it was good practice. once the motor is installed use the window button to make the motor go up to where you can see the bolt through the little whole and attach the window and you are done. if the window has trouble going all the way up (like mine did) loose it up and pull it to your right and tighten again and keep trying it until it become aligned. btw take advantage that the panel is off and grease the rail up. let me know if this helped or if you have any questions

I greased all of them. My passenger side is sooo slow so I just have the window lock on all the time so people wont mess with it. I really dont want to spend another 100 bucks on a new one.
also, you can grease the outside rail that you can see from outside the car. Is the groove where the glass attaches to the frame.

It's not that hard to change out the reg. ONce you remove your door panel, you should be able to figure it out once you look at it.
