Installing HID's, Removing Headlights?

On a 1999 CL do you have to remove the headlights to install a plug-n-play HID conversion kit?

For my Prelude and Civic you don't have to but I know the CL's are a little weird.

Its a basic McCulloch 9005 5000K conversion kit.

Nope, the bulbs just twist and pop out, after you remove the wiring harnesses from them. That should be all you need

Specter... yeah that harness in the picture is the one i used for the HID relay, the one on the passenger side isn't needed (unless you have a 2.3 cause the battery is over there so the relay will be too) so i just left it disconnected and tucked it under the headlight housing
