installation of HID bulbs
Are you talking about a true HID kit?
It should have come with some detailed instructions. Each bulb kit will have a small metal box that actually controlls the arc inside the bulb. You will have to mount this somewhere near the headlight assembly and it may need to be grounded out. The factory head light connection will now connect to this controller box and the wire leaving the controller should be connected to the new bulb socket. The socket will fit into the headlight assembly after you have remove the factory bulb.
If you mean "HID look" bulbs, just look in the owner's manual b/c they are the same as regular bulbs.

Try this:
Remove the circular rubber piece on the back side of the light assembly, this will expose the wire harness connection (......I assume you are changing the low beams).
Pull on the plastic connection at the end of the wire harness away from the light, this will expose the bulb prongs (it should come off fairly easy).
There is a small metal wire clip that hold the bulb in the socket, you will need to push it in (or towards the front of the vehicle) and then down (I think it's down......maybe up). Anyway, once you do, the wire should pivot around on it's hinge and allow you to remove the original bulb. Actually there may not be a wire, I think that's only on H4 & H3 bulbs, if there is no wire the bulb may twist out. Can someone else confirm this??
Now carefully insert the new bulb, take note not to touch the glass with your fingers and/or bump the glass into anything. If these is any oil or grease on the glass, the bulb will pop or crack within a few hours of use.
Repeat the first three steps in reverse.
Good luck!

It's really simple. Try the one on the passenger side first (assuming you have the 3.0, you have more room on the passenger side). Just unplug the bulb, twist it out and replace the bulb with the new one following the same procedure.
One thing that is very important..... DO NOT TOUCH THE BULBS. That is unless you want to take another trip to the auto parts store to buy another set of bulbs.....

u guys making the whole issue of installing the bulds so difficult.
1) take out the harness (connected to ur bulbs)
2) twist counter-clockwise to losen and make sure u hold onto the peace.
3) slide ur new bulds in and twist clockwise to lock it
4)connect the harness back on.
NOTE, if u have a hard ass time putting the new bulds in, u have the wrong bulds or ur confusing the bulds for high beams bulds. if that's the case, then those lights are for ur high beams.
NOTE2, high beams bulbs are hard to get lose because of condition that makes them stall. work with it.
NOTE3, installing ur bulbs are easy, and should be smooth. if u have trouble putting it back in for any reasons, u got the wrong bulbs for it. shouldn't take u less than 1 min.
NOTE4, DON'T TOUCH THE BULBS cause u will wear it out faster....oil from ur skin and high heat from bulbs.
NOTE5, when u start ur car, let the car runs for atleast 5 seconds, then turn on the lights cause when u start ur car, it sends an eletric shock thru out ur car. turning the headlights on and the car at a same time will die out ur bulbs fast...really fast...2 weeks at the least.
