Well after I get out of college classes today I can go home and hopefully honda has found out what I have to do with my car

With some luck they will have left the message on my machine I hope I dont need a new tranny, if I do that means 4000 out of my pocket and the front bumper I want to buy will have to wait you can see the front bumper in the PHOTOSHOP section

I will let all of you know what is going on when I get home

 

what happened? accident? if not u have a 99 why would ur tranny be under warrenty??

 

dont know what happened my tranny just went I found out that I do need a new tranny and I am going to get one for 1900 which is a lot better than I thought will keep you all updated as far as I know it should be done this Friday

 

All acura's come with a 4 yr, 50,000 mile warranty. Unless you have 50,000 miles on your car, the tranny should be replaced free.

 

I have 55,000 miles just over it which sucks but I am getting a used tranny that only has 32,000 miles on it and installed for 1900 bucks so I got a good deal on it from Honda (It helps to know people that work at honda)

Have you owned this since new? Was it abused? Just curious.

 

Yes I have had the car since it was brand new the car was never beat on I treated it like a baby

 

i wish you the best of luck with your new used tranny. difficult decision to make. buy new, or a used one for a lot less. on one hand you want to save money, one the other you don't want to be buying a tranny that was abused and will die on you again. are you getting a warranty with this tranny?
