Exclamation I need DIY instructions....

on how to install camber kits yourself. Anyone have instructions for a 3.0?
Is this easy to do or should I let a trained technician do this?
I know that the alignment will have to be done at a shop.

^ My boy got his installed ( front only ) for $80.00 under the table....so you can only
imagine how much the regular price for installation will be.

Do you think those instructions will work for a 3.0?
Thanks Will.

I can give you instructions for an Eibach anchor bolt front camber kit. i did it on my 2.2 and it was pretty quick. klepto has my DIY on his site for the rear washer camber kit, too.

I dont think you installing your camber kits is a good idea. You will end up like Shiney without a car for a few days and cursing everyone out.

Platano - I'm not shiney....I'm Divine aka Mr. know-it-all

Divine: Pronunciation: d&-'vIn
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): di·vin·er; -est
Etymology: Middle English divin, from Middle French, from Latin divinus, from divus god -- more at DEITY
1 a : of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god <divine love> b : being a deity <the divine Savior> c : directed to a deity <divine worship>
2 a : supremely good : SUPERB <the pie was divine> b : HEAVENLY, GODLIKE

Honestly, I don't think it will be that difficult to do. Put it this way, you'll learn from my mistakes.

BTW - I think shocks and springs are more difficult to install than a front camber kit.

I said the same exact thing but he thinks otherwise... We'll see what happens when his kit gets here - I'll go do a play by play of the install

Well when we see him with his wheels off on the side of the road and calling you to pick him up, make sure you chirp the tires in your 2.2 to show him up.

I doubt it, but i'm sure Alex will be there to rescue me.

:gheylaugh:

Seriously, I think I can actually do this myself. I mean...how do you think
mechanics learned how to do such things. You have to try and learn from
your mistakes. Besides, I can later charge other local CL's for install of there
camber kit.

$ <--- ...but of course less than a shop.

I understand but I know alot of mechanics around my way who told me they
learned what they know by taking apart their whole car and putting it back
together...not that i'm saying I will do this but you get the concept.

I actually enjoy working on my own car and wouldn't mind doing this.
