Hey Dust,
I was at a Bay Area meet just yesterday. Hougee and myself were the only first gens their. The most enlightening thing to the 2nd genners about my 1st gen was the bottle of laughing gas in the back.

The most enlightening thing about the 1st gen CL IMO is that you'll always stand out among the throng of civics and accords and integras.
And every now and then you can fool some wanna-be ricer into thinking that it is an accord with lots of custom bodywork!

Rick, I am awaiting the UPS guy right now for my system. It's an 800 W Crunch Amp with 2 12" Woofers and a box. I just was looking at upgrading the woofers while I got my car serviced this morning. Had to get the last one in before the warranty runs out this weekend. Another $300, but she runs really swell and stops on a quarter ( hey, it's due to inflation! ). Time to hit the track Friday night, but I figure to get the system put in whenevr we can make it to PA.
