i hear a weedwacker

just got my exhaust welded on today and it sounds like shit
sounds like a go-cart with a coke can muffler
i'm so pissed, no just kidding, it has a semi deep tone
it's not bad, i took it on 64 and opened it up and hit 120 faster than i remember, but i think low end is worse than before
i can almost burn in second now, when i used to most of the time before, but mid-upper band feels good.
total price 835 including 100 for welding

You're not gonna get too deep a tone with a 4 cylinder. I'm surprised a Greddy product sounds like shit though. Price is hella steep to be unsatisfied.

You're gonna lose backpressure if you do a catback with increased piping. Thus losing some low end. Thats why I just did a rear section.

The subject and opening remarks were a fallacy, I was being facetious. The exhaust tone is semi-deep and sounds much better than any civic or cl with a universal muffler, that i've heard. The $835 includes an 'extreme' high flow cat, labor and installation, and the greddy full system. It's not really that much for a dyno tested system. It should sound much better when the dohc goes in.

any of you guy/gals try to get King to modify a Mugen catback? I just figured that if you are already spending more than 800 - a Mugen would make sense to look at if it could be fitted.

I gotta ask that question too, what exhaust cost 800 bucks? Did you get everything headers, cat back and tip? Thats alot if you didn't get all 3 things. Wow, as long as your happy with it, tha'ts all that matters

it's simple math
greddy evo exhaust systems retail at 600
i got mine from rmstoico for 535 with shipping
extreme high flow cat with 2nd o2 sensor and extension flanges with shipping 200
welding and installation 100

that equals 835

GoldieAlek: what does DOCH and SOCH mean???? you mean DOHC and SOHC? and if so what does your reply mean

well while you working on it SOCH that comes in

I'm pretty sure he means single/dual over head cam. DOCH and SOCH are probably typos. Kinda like how people spell vtec, "vtech"

i love name calling, feels like i'm in grade school again

i asked you because you had typo's in more than one reply

when DOCH comes in ? do you have a swap ?
well while you working on it SOCH that comes in
and i never said "comes in" you scroll up

your second reply doesn't make any sense even using the correct acronym, i just wanted you to repost in a language we can all understand, English.

take a class if you are having trouble with proper grammar

there, how do you like that for name calling !!!!!!!!!
