I have $1200 in rims/tires, $120 springs, $300 shocks, $500 cat-back, $200 cat, $250 headers, $200 intake, $100 ignition, $150 shifter, $150 interior, $1800 system, $250 lights... and im not done yet.

$5220 roughly.

 

I think it can add up really quick a good set of rims & tires & a nice sound system can put you up to $4000 really quick... I am over 4 grand & I havent really done that much yet...

Installation on all electrical items (done by my Uncle and I cost me about $250). Installation on springs/shocks (done twice), alternator, and rotors cost me about another $250.

I'm on my 3rd Intake (2 short rams) and my current CAI. The short rams cost me about $150, and are sitting in my basement.

None of the above includes shipping (except for the tire/rims), so that why I mentioned between $6500 and $7000.

It does add up!

BTW: If you price everything above at retail, add at least $1000. I've got most of my stuff from eBay. Just looking at the stereo components alone, I doubt you can get NEW Infinity speakers (front and rear), 2 JBL 12" subs, a 1400-watt amp, and a sub box for $500 retail [but who pays retail, right].

but as for $700 to the engine, Ive got intake, my dual exhaust, and MSD with wires,

and as for lowerin it, I had to replace a bad ball joint for one, then shocks and coilovers are expensive (I should have done them at the same time but I waited on the shocks), and with all the camber kits I had to buy and keep goin to the place cause the camber kits were the wrone one, its was a headache

well i just found this thread and thought i'd give some input on what i've got invested
holy shit, i've had this car for 4 years and i added it up to $6948
that's not including paint and bodywork that's still not done and all the maintenance and acute symptoms like the window regulator twice and i paid for the egr to get cleaned and i'm probably forgetting some things
the majority is into my system which i added to 3550 with a mediocre install done all by me
all that $ and i don't think i've broken into the low 16's yet, my car is SLOW

 

Wow you guys have spent a lot Lets see: Side skirts with paint = $250, air dam with paint = $265, headlight housing were $10 for a new assembly to practice on (just had to pay shipping and it was like new ) and like $10 in paint so not bad, Tint = $140, wood kit = $220 (i think), Clears = $37, integra clears = $25, indiglos (like two years ago) $55, Headunit = $200, Sub = $100 (new), amp = $200 (i believe), emblems = $25, fogs = $65, LED = $7, Speaker phone kit = $190, A-CL.com stickers = $11 Hopefully i can add more to that list soon
