Looks "tioght" (ghetto to english translation: tight; ie. excellent)

If you're gonna do the bottom, I would do it in black. You don't wanna take too much attention from grill.

Very CLEAN! Just need to ask, where did you buy the material? Is the grille sheet really thin because I think it would have to be or the metal border would stick out. thanks

I was thinking of matching the top with bottom. Have a chrome outline and the mesh in the middle like the hood that way its all uniform. Or maybe instead of the outline spray paint ACURA on the mesh in green to match the car.

Thanks, I got the material from Lowes. All it is is gutter guard material. Ya the material is pretty thin but I did 2 layers so I could get more of the mesh look and the emblem I order from Acura. It is the same emblem as the one on the trunk of the car.

Looks great. you did two layers? Did you just make it so there are smaller holes? Just curiuos cause i did one layer and it dents easily and could use alittle more depth. Also how did you get the emblem to stay? Mine is in pretty tight but could be easily removed by a would be theif

Ya I did the 2 layers because I didn't like the way 1 layer looked, but it also made it stronger for the freeway driving(no dents yet either). And I used super glue to hold the "A" emblem in place so you would need a strong pull and more than likely the emblem would brake if anyone trys to.

u have the only cl custom hood grill that ive seen and liked so far. u should definitely do the bottom. i'm probably just going to custom paint the stock hood grill to match my bottom. not sure yet. i can never find the spray can of paint for my car. they have every other color but the damn flamnco black. silver is not a prob. i wish i didnt have to have a front plate. i get pulle dover for that too much but never for the tint. i dotn get it. n e ways heres a pic of the bottom. the car smiles at u.

like ur car. nice and clean just the way i like it. great job on the grill.

Thanks VXCL. Did you do the bottom your self or have someone do it for you. You mention to me before about the material was folia tech, or something. Where can I get the material or if you could get me in touch with the person that did the grille for you, that would be great.

Sure thing, once I can find an emblem because it is all still quite bare. Also, I might have to do another layer because the inside is able to be seen (black weave and piece where "A" emblem was) I was thinking about painting the grille black chrome like my intake, any suggestions? Also thinking about a different emblem than "A", perhaps a name or sumthing. Any suggestions will be appreciated...

I've been looking for this material in my spare time and I'm having a hard time finding it. I'm just going to do the bottom grille though, I'll think a little longer about the front grille.

I think the hood grill would look great with just the "ACURA" word from the rear of the car either centered as an emblem or down and to the right corner of the grille.

hey all... i was considering doin the grille with mesh but instead painted the emblem flat black to match the stock 98 3.0 cl grille and it looks sleek... gives a nice racey appeal with both bottom and top black on a white car...

i have pics but i dont know how to post them

are there any billet grilles available.. prob not right!?

Yes and No. Grille Craft has the material that you can order and custom fit it to your car which is what I plan on doing in couple of weeks. You can find it at www.speedandsyle.com , I think that is the link if not email me and I will give the correct one.
