I'd say go with the 6K. It has more of a Hyper white color with a slight hinge of blue in it. As for the 8K has a deep blue color to it. Unless you like to get the cops attention go with the 6K. But that's just my

6000K on my 4runner
6000K on my CL w/ projectors
I recently put 5000K HID kit in mine, did a lot of research and decided that I also needed maximum light output for the HID conversion to be really effective. If you are just going for the color than save your moeny for the HID kits and just replace them with good 6000k halogen bulbs, will match the color of your corner lights and will save you some $$$$.
