well i will be puting HID's in soon and i want everyones opinion should i go with 6 or 8k?

 

i got a 5k, more of a oem looking hid

 

well i think the only real difference between the 6 and 8 k is just the color difference is that right?

unless u like attention, get the purple ones and you'll turn heads.

6K ftmfw don't do 8K they're too blue/purple I have 6000K on both my whips and love the output/color

 

yeah i was just checking out ur thread when u changed ur corners liked 6 times and i was looking at the pics and i like the color of the 6k i have blue white led corner light and i think they shoud match pretty good.

 

4300k = stock HIDs for cars

anything higher and the output is reduced for more color. the higher up the kelvin scale you go, the more color, the less output. 6k is fine, thats what I have, 8k is the highest id ever go.

 

I'd say go with the 6K. It has more of a Hyper white color with a slight hinge of blue in it. As for the 8K has a deep blue color to it. Unless you like to get the cops attention go with the 6K. But that's just my

 

well i went to high school with most of the cops in my area so they really dont bother me ever its nice.

If it's the ones like in your pic. I'd say go with the 6K.

 

I have a set of 8k in my 97 cl looks nice.......

 

8k looks pretty nice my cousin has it on his rsx but i prefer white

I recently put 5000K HID kit in mine, did a lot of research and decided that I also needed maximum light output for the HID conversion to be really effective. If you are just going for the color than save your moeny for the HID kits and just replace them with good 6000k halogen bulbs, will match the color of your corner lights and will save you some $$$$.
