Help with shock sensor
I have read every post regarding shock sensor install on the factory alarm. I have a 99 3.0 CL, and every picture I have seen references things that do not exsist under my dash The only "boxes" on the drivers side, under the dash, are the cruise control box (black w/green label), and a box intergrated into the fuse box in the kick panel. I see no boxes with 2 plugs as referenced everywhere, and no signs of a yellow wire with silver dots that does not have a stripe.
THe instructions I keep seeing have the ebrake under the dash. Mine is next to my cup holder in between the front seats.
Can anyone tell me where the fricking brain to the alarm is please?

Welp, figured it out myself. For those that don't know, the above pin-outs are the same for the units mounted under the passenger seat. I lengthened the wires on the shock sensor so I could mount it behind the glove box on a structural part of the car (this wil pick up impacts better). Tapped the wires as indicated above, and set the sensitivity.

It doesn't matter. Sounds like you have a dual stage. I connected my first stage wire to be sure to get it to go off.
Remember, after you arm the alarm, you have to wait 30 secs. before the shock sensor can trigger it.
