Hey,
Any one here upgrade their non heated seats 2.3/2.2 to heated seats?? I was looking over the wiring diagrams for a 3.0 with heated seats and its seems like all i would need are the heated seats+ the wiring to the switches then to the fuse panel, and an under hood fuse aswell?
any thought?? i may just try this

I've been thinking the same for a long time.

But the heated seats are way down on a list of priorities.

It would probably be more worthwhile to upgrade the seats to RSX ones (and better if they are equipped with the heated feature).

I don't think any RSX has ever had heated seats that's why we have a CL

Ok I know this is a old thread but I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the wiring for the heated seats at. My car had cloth interior and since I upgraded to the 2003 CL seats I figured if I could find the wire harness somewhere I would hook up the heated seats. So if anyone has any idea where to find these things I would really appreciate it

the 2nd gen and 1st gen wiring is different anyway, you'll probably be better off just doing it yourself, I have the helms manual, i can scan the wiring diagram if you need it

P0401: Saw photos of your second gen seats, they look great. Just wondering how much you paid and where you found them.

Is it a pretty easy install?

I got them on craigslist from a guy that was parting his out. The seat frames are completely different on the second gen seats. What I did was take the first gen cushions off of the frame and put the second gen cushions on the first gen frames. There was one bold hole on each seat that needed to be made bigger for the lower seat cushion to bolt up but that was it. The front of the second gen frame would bolt up but the rear was entirely different at least on 1 side. I was going to get an adapter made but figured swapping out the frames would end all the wiring problems and everything I would have had to do before installing the seats

as you can see I did the Passenger side first and that is why that one picture shows the leather on one side and still the gray cloth seat on the drivers side. I was worried it would be allot to get them in so I didn't want to not be able to drive the car for a long period and thats why I did the passenger side first
