Got new presents today, working on a new DIY.

Also got this cool little thing, LED flashlight that charges from your cig lighter, only problem i have with it, is the red LED doesn't match at night, but it's a cool little thing.

Only thing that bugs me is the red led charging indicator, may do something about it...

my rotors and calipers are looking disgusting. I'm going to paint my calipers black for that clean look, but my rotors, the tops of them are nasty and rusted. What should I do that I will get the most bang out of my buck?
Should I a) take all that shit off and clean the shit out of it
or b) buy cheap new bigger rotors, will that in turn make me need different calipers?

and for the record can I just say I love this thread, saves me from making an ass out of myself and posting hundreds of new threads per week not to mention saves me from getting frustrated with the useless search.

edit: post # 600 lol

From the GB thread, I don't remember the exact weight but it's between 40-50 lbs. 40something

Yeah thats what i thought it was, except i didn't hear the turbo so i didn't know what to make of it. Either way it was fun, I got my boy's RDX lined up to race soon. He's actually on acurazine too lol. I wonder how much of a chance i have against that. Its a heavy truck but its definitely fast.

The problem isn't where my car is. That shop is waiting on the other shop to give them back my heads. But yes, just waiting for the gasket job to get done.

Just saw this message, I will PM you back shortly.

As for the gizmos, I do love gadgets and toys especially for the CL. I have been on hiatus from buying much of anything for the CL for the last year since I bought the house. Starting a new job in less than 2 weeks, hoping the increased income will help me be able to turn my focus back to the fall and winter projects I have planned. Either that, or I'll kick my gf out finally and just be broke still

LOL I got bored.

random ass vid, I held the camera in my mouth so enjoy the breathing haha. Following my friends VR6... The "special" laughing is me realizing I missed the exit haha. The vid is just interior sound, obviously I didn't stay on it after I got out of 3rd.

Its definitely running right, finally lol. idles smooth at about 900 rpm and everything. The only issue is that the throttle body sticks sometimes. I gotta ask arber how to fix that cuz he says he fixed his.

Damn, exhaust and reflash nets 40 hp?!? Thank god the RDX i'll be up against only has a CP-E intake, but then again i just put on the skunk2 70mm TB and portmatched IM. So that should help me out. Next step is def exhaust, i need it badly.

Gnate.

Why is your check engine light on? If you're straight piped, you can get an o2 simulator which will get rid of the CEL. They're pretty cheap.

haha my catalytic converter throws codes, I think i'm gonna take it off though and get a simulator, or maybe just get the simulator. I'm gonna put a glasspack in place of my resonator soon, my friend did that on his f22 and it took away a lot of the rasp.

You can drill them out carefully and put in new ones.

That's what I did with my front rotors. We have 2 screws that hold them in place which were stuck or just about impossible to take out. So I drilled them out.

Ever get around to hitting up Mauricio?
