Well I just have to wet sand and clear off all of the oxidation and that gunk before painting and sealing.

I really wish the search function was working. Davzilla said with minor modification to his f22 he was able to almost match the output of the h22... anybody know how? I'm only asking cause search is busted.

theres a reason why the f22 went into accords and the H22 went into the top trims of the Prelude. it's more than minor modifications im sure. probably different pistons, crank, cams.most of which will come from the H series anyways. thats not minor, that diassembling your block and head. if you're not a mechanic, lots of labour and money. save for the h22 swap.

What kind of paint are you using? I swear by and only used Krylon Stained Glass paint (both yellow and amber)...gives the perfect look if layed down in very light layers...

Here's how my 2nd retrofit came out on my old 4th gen (god I miss it)

Be aware that the amber always comes out 'dark' at first, but you want it as dark as possible initially because it will eventually fade quick (for some reason the amber color fades quickly) to a very light amber shade.

i get what your saying. im planning on wiring up a 194 into the high beam that runs off the corner light, for a little DRL action, and to give me a lil yellow on the high's, i think it will set off the HIDS amazingly

I would go with something brighter than a 194... I've tried several bulbs from LED to incandescents and I can't seem to get the corners to get any brighter.

What if you bought a DRL kit and hooked it up to your high beams? That way they would run on low power mode and switch off when the headlights come on. That's something I'd like to try, but I want amber DRLs and amber high beams would look kind of ridiculous.

Which ones? I swear, I bought every different kind of 194 bulb on superbrightleds.

Got any pics with them on in a daylight situation?

I know it's going to be hard because the bulb is so small, but even on cloudy days you can't tell if mine are on/off.

I was thinking of doing something like this since I can't get the corners any brighter. Shouldn't conflict with the turn signals, and much safer than converting the corners to turn signals like others have done.
