what are you trying to do?

just tap into the battery but make sure you have a fuse replay so that you dont blow whatever you running on the positive lead

like fr my neons in the inside of my car i run a 20 amp fuse, but there is a short right now and i can figure it out

well a couple of things. I have an acura embelem that lights up blue that i want to run through my parking lights and i also want to hook a small flashing neon tube through hardwiring instead of it going through my cigarette adapter. i would like to have a toggle switch for this becaus i am thinking about getting some more.

all depends on what you are trying to do if running a amp ect ill tap directly with a inline fuse if it is a smaller amperage device scanner dvd player ect you could tap into a aux fuse in the fuse box or run a seprate fuse box many different options on what you can do.

If you don't have a fog light installed, you could get a light tester, open the fuse box and test which one will give you power when you turn on your headlights. once you find that, get connectors and hook up the power from there along with fuse and switch. So you only get power to neons when your headlights are on, and the switch will let u turn it off and on whenever u want.

Tap into wires at the ignition harness. That will be behind your steering wheel. These wires will be bigger than the rest of the wires down there. There will be a 12v constant and 12v ignition. Those are the only ones you need. You will need a wire tester to figure out which one to tap into. Make sure that you fuse any connection that you make!! 20 amp for a constant power source
