Handling

Does anyone else have this problem with their CL. I have stock wheels, tires, and suspension on my CL, just a strut bar in the back. My car sways to much with quick lane shifts, and leans to much on the turns, is there anyone else having this problem with theirs, and is there anything I could do to eliminate this problem? I wanted to drop it with prokits, and put 18's on it. But, people were tellin me that our cars are built like that, and they will still lean to much on turns.

ahhh... the beauties of stock suspension. i've been told that my car leans in turn but it doesnt seem that bad to me. the car still corners good. maybe the body roll doesnt seem that bad to me because my last car was a nissan pathfinder.
oh.. but the way.. AngelCL has eibach prokits.. ask her what she thought about them.

i have pro kits and 18s. iT handles alot better than stock but it still leans to me. My previous car was an acura integra 94 so it might be that im still used to the small compact sports car. But it does hold good corners though. I also have tokico prem shocks which makes the ride more firm and stiff which i like. i like the stif ride. I think that our CLs are heavier cars and it the width of the car is a little narrow compared to its wieght and lenght. Just my guess. hope this helps. If anyone has a solution i would also like to know how to improve our handling.

I have the H&R sport springs and they really reduced body roll. At least I haven't noticed much since they were installed. The only thing is that it lowered the car at least 2", when it said it would only be 1.6"! I am very glad I got them. The problem I have now is sliding around on the leather seats.

Hey Casper, how's the ride though? And do you think it would make a big difference if I got Pro kits instead of Sportlines?

There will definitely be a difference between the Prokits and the Sportlines. The Sportlines will give you less roll since they will drop your car more. Plus, Casper has ST Sway Bars which make a lot of difference. They definitely reduce (actually almost eliminate) any kind of roll.

for the members with eibach prokits and koni adjustables, do you have any problems with rubbing when you have a full load of passengers in your car? I am considering either changing to those springs or ground controls....
