for some fuc*king reason my h22 decieded to start today when i pluged in my f23 ecu and it fired right up! i was afraid something major was wrong and holy shit did that make my day. but one problem, i tried my h22 ecu and one of my friends but it still wont start. So my guess is its the jumper harness and i got the wrong one. sound right?

 

what year engine and ECU are you using? 97+ h22s came with ECUs that have immobilizers in them, meaning you can't start it up without the original key and ignition the ECU came with. I've been told you can get it reprogrammed at the dealer.

Other than that, I have no idea.

sounds to me like there is an imoblizer in your ecu. it wont start without the original key that was with the car the ecu came out of.

and one other thing my problem is that jdm honda parts set me the wrong jumper harness and told me to fuck myself- so what specific one do i need. look on locashracing.com and tell me please.
