Ebay, you can get a n2o kit for 250 easily. That would leave you with 150 for some spark plugs and wires that would be beneficial with the n2o kit.

The best bang for the buck. Go go gadget search....!!!

for the 2.2 headers and pulleys would give you the most gain, look into the Unorthodox Racing Pulleys

3.0 708 should be able to do it about in 7 i think thats if you dont have a big system, a exhaust and maybe some plugs or other mods but you would have to go the track, since each 3.0 is different and each CL runs differently

well shit. I did some time testing yesterday in my car, and if I leave my 3.0 in d3 the whole time I'll get a 0-60 time of about 11 seconds... which is fucking terrible. Then I did it by shifting "manually" and by letting off the gas when the car shifts and I got a 0-60 time of about 7.5 seconds. All I have is a CAI, and the temp outside that day was about 85 degrees. I also found that it takes me 3 seconds just to get to 20 mph. Is there any way I can increase my low end power?

Dude, don't let off the gas when shifiting. Rev the fuck out of the car, it's an automatic, not manual.

I'm awaare of that, but I don't have the money right now to buy a Dr. evil tranny, let alone rebuild one. The auto shifts on it's own at 5900 rpm and that hurts it. I don't hink making it shift at 6700 is gonne be good for it, and actually if you time it right it does work better than just staying on the gas. I tried it the way you said and I got a time of about 9 seconds. Keep in mind I'm at about 6000 feet above sea level, so those times are pretty damn good.

for us 4cyl it is just 1 header...

go header exhaust...

remove your rear seat, spare tire, and tools... that should get you a bit faster

awsome. and to answer the ecu question, no its not some cheapo ebay one. Its the WHOLE ecu chiped and reprogramed from a local shop ( fuel curve, dual vtec engagments and what not. Also, is there a reason why a type s corolla can pull in 3rd by a car then in 4th get raped ? Headers is the choice you have preferd and i was leaning tward that as well, thank you for all your help and input i realy apreciate it. I have some brand decisions to make now. In your opinion, would DC sports ceramic headers, OBX stainless steal headers, Alphawerks Stainless headers ( 170 +ship) be the best ? what kind as well ( 4 to1 ) ( 4-2-1 )

I have OBX header and CAI. The header I got from tuning-depot.com for 110.00 plus shipping for the ceramic coated one. Stainless gets nasty after a little while. I think it makes a difference in low end. Your car will never be "fast" like u want it, but it can be better than stock. I got the 2.2 also and its alot better than it was after CAI and header. Now for exhaust......

that won't give you much of a gain at all actually, but go for it if you want.

anywayz, you want power, go with nos. why settle with 8-15hp gain when you can get 75hp.

Just go to ebay, you can find used kits for cheap.

the corolla is light? the car only has 160hp stock... to your 145hp? the 2.2 is 145 right and 2.3 150?

Anyway so he has 15hp over you plus a lot less weight a couple hundred im assuming. The OBX Stainless StEEl are fine some have issues with the welding but I've had mine on and no problems and a few others have them on their 2.3's and 3.0s without problems... a couple have had problems with the welds.

I think they only make 4-2-1 for the f22/23?

yaeh or you could put in the juice like cocoa siad...

its a 2003 type s corolla with 140 hp, weighing about 2400 pounds with cai and exhaust and it doesnt beat me. Its when i have 240 pound kid in the pass and we race that he barely beats me. other than that i walk all over him, but how about Tsudo stainless headers ? if not those then ILL just buy OBX
