I have a 2.2 cl. I want to get an H22 with my tax rtn. I have a 5spd and i want to keep that tranny. What else will i need if i keep the tranny? Still and entire swap(ecu, manifold,TB,dist etc.etc.) or would i just need the engine itself? If so what do you think cost would be for buying everything i need (leave install out, i'll worry about that later)? Sorry to halfway hijack this!

get the enigine with the TB, dist, and manifold. you will need a lude drivers side mount shaved down, and the two plug that go from the prelude harness to the distributor, just cut them off (if you can find them or if they come with your engine). you will need them in order to plug up to the prelude distributor, I have the wiring for that down packed so holla. you will also need to lengthen some wires and wire in the knock sensor.

do you have your own shop leon? if i have a 3.0... what would be the prefered engine swap? on a 2.3 it would be F23 >> H22.. on a 3.0 it would be J30A1 >>

no I don't have my own shop, it's my boys shop. I'm not sure as to what an alternative engine would be for the 3.0.

depends on many things, for one, how much boost you wanna run. The more boost you want to run the more stronger and tuned the engine has to be.
