H22 guys help! ???'s

I found out today that my mounts are shitty. Basically just worn to shit and the inserts are trash too. (they are the stock F-23 mounts) The motor moves a little when I shift sometimes. And it broke some bracket/crossmember thing. I just had that shit re-welded today, and I'm not racing or even driving hard till I get new mounts and inserts.

My ? is what did all you guys do about mounts? Were your stock ones fine or did you get new ones? If you replaced yours, let me know how much and where you got them. Also if anyone has recomendations on where to get/order h22 mounts and inserts then thanks.

On a good note, I raced this GS-R on the freeway today 3 times. I lost the first 2 times and was like WTF?? Then I realized I had the AC on like full blast. Turned that off and beat him, but it was still close. Rolled down the window and asked what he had, = I/H/E, pulleys, cam gears, VAFC, Mugen ECU, all tuned! He got sad when I told him I had a stock H22 with just an intake. :P
BTW- I hate the 120mph governor!!!!!!

From what I saw in the motor swap article in Sport Compact Car mag. you can use the Quelude tranny mount and back mount. Sapposidly thery are stronger. I need new mounts bad!

Nice kill too. I broke off this EG hatch w/gsr on the 210 frwy not too long ago. He could not believe it. I got beside him and we rolled down the windows, he told me it was a gsr. Then we threw down again. We took it to 130-140 and he still got smoked. Every one of my friends told me I couldnt beat a gsr in a EG hatch. Fuckin' please! For an n/a motor my type-R has mad top end. I still want to race a gsr hatch off the line though.

sweet mark! thanks for the info on the mounts.

Clpower- no, everyone told me the stock ones are fine, and supposodly they are, mine are just warped. I wish Brian at Prospeed wopuld of told me that when he put the damn motor in!

So are h22 and F22/23 mounts identical or not???

my mechanic had to fabricate a few mounts, so that the prelude trans, and the motor could fit.

wow! if you're still on stock mounts, then I guess they work fine. So do you think I should just buy some new OEM F-23 mounts, and some good inserts??

get the inserts...i will be getting those soon...
the reason i suggested the inserts is cuz i dont know who sells real mounts for the accord/prelude....i know they have them for the civic/integra just not for the accord/prelude...
i might be wrong

Guess what, Hasport has put their H22 mounts on the back burner for now because of the huge demand for K series swap mounts. So we are shit out of luck on that end too.

sweet find out. Anyone got a hookup on energy suspension mount inserts?? I'm gonna try to just get these and see if it holds my motor in better. My mounts aren't all that bad, but the inserts are warped.

duece you have the hookup on everything

:P LOL just kidding bro, I ended up just getting those energy suspension inserts off ebay for $40. I'm gonna try these, but if the motor still feels loose i'll let you know. I'd probably pay around $250 if they are good mounts. Find out and let me know.

yeah i was trying to keep that auction quiet till it was over, cause i new someone else on here would have wanted it. I had to type in "prelude inserts" cause the dumbass didn't write "h22" in the title! Then it said inside the auction, will fit h22, h23, f22, f23. So I guess all those mounts are about the same.
