got raped by the window gods!

So yesterday I slam my door and SNAP there goes the window cable

This wasn't bad, but what sucked was that it was suppose to rain last night and I couldn't wait to get the part cheap and install it myself so I had to go to a shop and get it done and forked out the 250$.

And of course it didn't rain!!!!!!!!!!

For now on i'm keeping my tools at my apt so I can do this shit quickly myself!!

those damn gods know how to fuk ya the wrong way.. they led me to a dealership who could only put in 2 motors at the same time..for $450!!! bypassin the BS i decicided to order it myself and had my local mechanic go at it for only $50.. and it works better than the day i got the car..

btw.. i got that silicone spray from honda and asked him where to spray it and he gripped the shit outta my hand and now my windows = flawless.. i highly recommend this...

that silicone spray sounds interesting, but messy.

if anyone needs an extra motor... i have one. it's used, but still works perfectly.
it could be a good spare. i just don't have room to store it.

we don't have our own garage yet.

How hard is it to take off the door panel? Simply removing all the screws.....or are there special techniques?

I had a bottle of touch-up paint in the door panel pocket. It cracked and made a mess. I'd like to remove the pocket so I can clean it out properly. I think the pocket is screwed into the door panel from the inside?
