Heres a new problem!!

Check this out!! I searched for any related issue and couldnt find anything on this one! My door handle stopped working!! HAHA! Its not funny but the fact of the matter is that i went to open the door from the inside (like most other cl owners do and the handle has tension on it but it does not open the door - and no - its not stuck or sticky or anything like that either - i actually have to roll down the driver side window and reach out and open the door from the oiutside!! Whats that all about? Talk about GHETTO!! WTF??!! How did this happen - nothing snapped or felt weird the last time i opened or closed the door - Get this though, the passenger door handle STICKS sometimes too? The inside door handle that is - has anyone had a problem with this and how the hell do you fix it - i am assuming i have to take the door panel off and check the wire connections to the locking mech. right? WHat a friggin pain in the a$$! I might as well replace the door speakers while i am in there - Anyone got MB Quarts for sale?? Damn this sux!!

Yeah, I probably should have posted something about this when it happened to me.

The story with my car was that the actuators in the door locks were completely f*cked. When I would try and open the door with my keyless entry, it would make a sound like it is TRYING TO unlock the door, but it didnt unlock. Also when I was inside the car, the power lock button would do the same thing. Then the passenger side door lock would have tension in it and the door handle would also. It made it impossible to open the door from the inside. Luckily they fixed it under warranty

Too bad they didnt replace the driver's side, cause now I am having the same problem.

Sounds somewhat the same, but not really.

this problem is notorious with the acura legend, the cable that is attached to the inner door handle has a little plastic piece that holds it in place and over time the plastic piece breaks off. take apart your door and see if there is broken plastic attached to your cable, if so, all you need is super glue and about 30 minutes of your time!
