got 18" rims today got a ? for yall

today i got some konig 18" and since putting them on when i;m rolling or going slow the steering wheel bobbles left to right back and forth. anyone know what i should do

were the rims and tires new, and did you install them yourself?

did you torque the rims or just tighten them up?

I would just check and be sure all of the lugs are nice and tight, sometimes with aftermarket rims you have to have special lugs to pull the rim in flush with the caliper, if everything looks tight and snug, just take that shit to a tire shop..maybe they werent properly balanced..that will cause horrible vibrations..hope this helps

if you have directional tires, are they rotating the correct way?

i say the directional tires are on wrong is my best bet

check your tread and make sure, there is a dot on the outside of the tire, this dot goes on the outside of the rim and should be the right direction

take it to the shop.. balancing tires is like 15-20 bucks max atleast here in seattle it is...

yea, it's either the balance, or just how 18's are. 18's are alot more figety then the stock wheels.

Did your rims come with wheel spacers?

Mine came with plastic spacers that without them, my wheels wobble.

did u get an alignment its most likely becuz u get wider tires the toe needs to be changed unless u had same size rims before

fixed the shaking part now it just pulls so i think i need alignment
