it was a wiring problem and because there is an aftermarket remote starter on it,which was there when i bought it,the warranty is void.ouch.

the dealer said $78.00 per hour, miles of wire,no idea where the problem is.large money.so,a friend knows someone who does that kind of work cheaper and more trustworthy.they did fix my ignition recall and brake job.$560.00 canadian.i love my car when it's working.it's a bitch when something's wrong.i think that because i bought the car used, with the remote starter on it,the extended warranty should not be void.any thoughts?

is it "certified"?

If it is, seems like they should have noted the aftermarket remote starter and either given you a written exclusion to that part of the warranty or covered it.

Of course, that's provided they even looked at it before marking it "certified"
