Gauges

Finally put mine in. They are badass

Question though, i pulled all the lights in the dash, is this ok or no? Do i need them for anything like warning lights or anything?
Just concerned about the really small one on top didnt know what it did.
THanks

as long as you didnt pull out the bulbs for the idiot lights, you are ok. But can you read your gauges at night?? or the odometer?

the two small bulbs on top shine down in the guages. if they are indiglo you will not need to worry about seeing the needles at night. the only reason the two bubls on top exist is to provide light for the black face guages that come with the car. they shine from the top so you can see the needles in the stock setup.

You should be fine. The lights behind the gauges dont have anything to do with the idiot gauges but as i found you should have left two lights behind your odometer so you can read it at night. I only left one and can only read my trip meter thing

I left all the lights on in my car. It works well since I connected the power to the dimmer in the car. Now I only have to lower the dimmer on the car and the indiglo's light up really nice. I cant see the odometer or the trip meter when I lower the dimmer but that is okay. The neat thing is that I can lower the dimmer on the indiglos and increase the regular dimmer from the car and the gauges light up like if they were stock but with a white face on them. This gives you another color to play around with. It's really neat. Anyway all you have to do is put in the two behind the odometer and the trip meter and you should have no problem seeing them at night. Hope this helps.

I have the reverse indiglo gauges and was wondering if any one has tried to block out some of the light from the 2 lights that shine on the gauge faces from up top. I want it to be darker so i can leave the dimmer all the way up but have the gauges look darker but bright enough to see the needles. anyone try something like this?
