do any of you guys experience any problems with your car garage opener? i have to get REALLY REALLY close to my garage for it to pick up and open. and by close i mean 2-3 inches from touching the damn garage gate.

 

my garage door opener sucks...sometimes you have to press it like 10 times before it works. Once it didnt work for a while, so we swapped the two cars positions inside and then it worked again

 

you gusy with a 98 or 99 CL suck

the 97 has all sorts of problems, trannys not covered under 100k warrenty, stupid rotor design, tranny design, garage door opener thingy, the llist goes on

most of them dont work anywyas

 

the garage door op[ener thingy has never worked for me, but I've never gotten SUPER close to teh garage door to test it. i figured if it didn't open the garage door from teh driveway then it didn't work. MAybe we just need to amp up the power a bit?

 

mine works from a good hundred feet away with a soft touch, ONCE

maybe you can try programming it on a different button just for the hell of it

 

hmm.. one question tho.. any of u guys have one of those CodeDodgers on ur remote? cuz when i tried to set mine up on my CL opener.. i dont think it programmed.. cuz my garage never opened from my CL.

* once again to program ur garage opener on ur CL is to press the romote directly to it and hold the button about 5 to 10 secs? ? *

i have it.. but.. i dont have a garage to program it to..

...(can we hook up additional lighting to the three buttons?) im thinking of putting on strobes in my grill for fun...
