Florida showdown.
As you all have read the previous threads, we talked about 2.? vs 3.0. Since I drive a H22, non the less a 2.2, I challanged some of the 3.0rs in Florida while im there on vacation to put our cars to the test for fun. I wanted all the people that said they would come to confirm on this thread or if it gets locked (which I wont be surprised if it does) to at least touch base by aim (SupraManAG) or e-mail (supramanag@aol.com). Alex (agranado) and I are starting to inform people of this meet as time is coming closer and closer. I'll be in Florida August 3rd thru the 11th. I think it will be a cool meet after our plans are also to go to the Moroso Speedway.

Wilp99 u better not be a no show.

I would like to participate if you don't mind a non-Acura car there. I have a little bit more than 3.0 liters, and some triangle thingy on the top that is supposed to make my car fast.

I live about 15 minutes from Moroso too.

It seems like no one is interested now to even respond let alone come. My car is in the shop tomorrow so I wont be taking it. I bent 2-3valves on friday. Don't ask! All I can say its going to cost me around one G.

EITHER way, any of you WPB boys know a good place to hang out before hand? I'd really just like to chill and hang out before we hit moroso... It would be fun as hell!

If the meet goes thru we can compare our times. They will be at moroso and ill be at englishtown. I feel so bad about this shit happening 3 days before I left for Florida. I was looking so forward to it. Anyways. I didn't make it this time but I will def be there by next summer.

 

dont even worry bout it...i still havent changed my timing belt, or adjusted my valves yet.. so this thing not happening prolly saved my engine too. besides i wouldnt want to drive that far with out my subs, cap and amp in the trunk.. ill go to bradenton motorpart sometime this month so i can get a good time to compare to yours at englishtown. by the way i had a 1980 mustang when i was stationed in jersey (bout 4 years ago) it ran a 11.43 there on street tires, but i had to sell it when my wife got nocked up with my son. i guess i made the right decision...

yes, I REALLY want to head on up this friday night. However, I would like to meet up earlier with a few of you just to hang out for a while before we go to moroso. Please, those of you who live close to it can you give us a location where we can meet up and just hang out for a bit? Im thinking around 3-4 PM until about 5:30, which then we head on out to the track and register and go from there.

I live close, but being 36, the place I would go to hang out is probably not what you guys would do. I usually just go to the beach. There is really nothing near the track, it is way out west.

Alright. I would LIKE this meet to take place this friday, with a small get together somewhere right before we head on out to MOROSO speedway in WPB.

However, I dont think we've found a place yet to meet up beforehand.

Id be cool to get there around 4, then head out to moroso at 5:30 or so, register, and start running

The weather forecast is not looking good for tonight, we got pounded yesterday afternoon with T-storms. They said the same today beginning at 4-5PM. I am not going, maybe next time guys.
