First real accident with CL
although it was minor its still the first damage i have to my baby. lost the drivers side headlight, bent up my hood and left alot of white marks all over the bumper. apparently my brakes ( stock ) didnt like to stop as quick as the 01 celica infront of me. anyone know the average price for a headlight or any ideas for my repair cuz mommy doesnt wanna go through insurance so the celica is just getting a estimate n were gonna pay them. which leaves me with trying to figure out what to do with it. any comments or suggestions would be appreciated...by the way i have a red first gen cl

well.. if the car had enough of a impact to damage the headlight.. and bend the hood.. not are u gonna need body work, but also. your car might be internally damaged as well..
after i got into a accident with my CL (driver side door) i had to replace the door (obviously ... hehe) and get the car re-aligned and stuff like that.. it was a pain in the butt..
so remember, external is damaged.. but internal might be damaged too!
as for the cost of the headlight.. and hood.. if i where u .. i would go to a local junkyard and pick those up for cheap

sounds like only exterior damage.....as long as your bumper didnt get pushed in too much....
if your bumper is still aligned with your fenders, it's ok...
a new or slightly used headlight you can find for 300 or less
a new Acura hood will cost you about 800 bucks, but it's designed to absorb impact. You can buy an aftermarket hood which isn't required by law to meet safety specs. That you can find for about 400-500.
painting, blending and clear coat should run you about 800-1000 from a good shop.
after labor and all I'm thinking slightly less than 2200 bucks for a good job like it never happened.
