Ok well my friend and I were bored tonight so I got a couple vids. They arent great because it was dark, the camera only takes 10 frames per second, and the mic isnt great, but they arent terrible. There will be plenty more to come now that I have a digicam.

Don't know. Technically, just finished the break in period so I havent been to the track yet.

9/10 psi, gauge isnt very accurate and i'm running off a spring.

That was the F23 turbo, but good memory. Got almost 100 more horses now.

where the hell is the intercooler???...and i have a set of ground control coilovers that i was gonna put on my CL before it was totaled (which looked exactly like yours) for sale for $500 if you want...comes with brand new bolts/bushings free too (since the old 1ns are usually rusted out).

Its there...ive painted the piping and the couplers black so its not noticeable behind the grill.

I just got a 01 cl type s and and looking for a turbo or something and was woundering were you got yours.

 

You're in the wrong forums, go to the 2nd Generation forums for more info on your specific CL. But just to answer your question, your kit would run about 5-7 grand depending if you get help by members on the boards or not. There is no company that makes a kit for your CL, you have to have it all custom made. There are 2nd gen auto CL's with turbo kits on them, as well as 6 speed ones. All have spent around $7,000 for them minimum. The only reason why I'd say you can probably make one for around $5,000 is simply because there are people with answers that can make your life easier. But then you'd still have to pay someone to install it.

 

Around how much can you get a good enough turbo kit for the 2.2cl? I want the pssst

 

if you buy the right parts the first time, install it yourself, and are patient enough to piece it together yourself including used parts, you can probably do it for under $3000 tuned. there are so many variables involved in the price of a kit, as each part can range in price tremendously and there are a couple choices as far as engine management, etc.

 

the turbo itself came from precision turbo. its garrett parts with better flowing housings on it. Cocoa covered the rest.
