Finally got a super clean cl.....

hey everyone kind of new to the sight..just picked up a super clean97 2.2 white 5spd. about two weeks ago. Im from the jerzee area..so far i have added a 7 inch touch screen in dash tv, grey leather, 2.3 wheels (5 spoke alumin),direct fit hids, tein stechs with brand new kyb gr2s,and infinniti cappa perfect interiors front and back...my question is any body have any quarter mile times w an h22 swap? and will a jackson racing charger fit with the h22 installed?

Sorry I cannot answer your question, but i noticed you have GR2's. Could you do me a favor and snag a picture of your rear suspension, behind the carpet in the trunk. I'm trying to figure out where my suspension noises are comming from and we have the same set up. the guy that installed it put a lock nut on the top and i cannot tighten down the washer anymore. Just want to see how far your washer is and how it affects the bushing back there. Thanks and welcome to the board, congrats on the new car.

I believe Dainfammus1 put a larger intake manifold on his H23 swap and it was a tight fit with the firewall, so I would assume you would have problems with the JRSC as well if it even fits.

if it fits on BB1 Prelude chassis with a slight modification of the shock tower, i doubt it would need much more on a CL. the engine bay is much more roomy.

its roomier everywhere BUT where the damn Supercharger would go. And yes, you'd have to cut the firewall to get it to fit. I had to notch my damn brake booster to even get the damn IM to fit, and i need a new brake booster now. I can only imagine how big of a bitch it would be to fit the damn supercharger in there. Theres tons of room for turbo, but no room for the JRSC. Maybe there's another type we could use or retrofit, idk yet.

Sounds like a nice car. Let's see those pictures.

I'd like to see Vortech make a kit for the F/H series. There's certainly more power potential with a centrifugal supercharger.

i totally agree. I wish they made a kit for us. I'm about to see if there's a way to retrofit any of their kits, although i doubt it

That supercharged 1 is nice, but its a 3.0 which would be irrelevant to the f/h series supercharged topic.
