Finally got M3 mirrors on...

Here are some pics of my mirrors. I've asked a few people who have them if they can post better pics but they never did so here you go for those of you who were wondering like I was. They slant a lot more than the stock mirrors and a little smaller too but I like them alot. Anyone else like them?

Personally, i don't. I really can't find anything wrong with the stock mirrors. The M3 style mirrors for the CL's IMO are too small and slanted. They look out of place from inside the car, and cut down on lane change vision. I do like the lights/turn signals that they have though. I wonder if there is a way to fit a light in the stock mirrors......hummmmmmmmmmm

97Acura3.0CL...it's been 2 days since I've had them on and at first they look really wierd and to tell you the truth, I didn't like them that much. But after awhile I got use to them along with everything thing else that pesters me about that car. There is some loss of vision but like I said, It's not that bad. I can still see fine but it just takes some getting use to.

azn5ucka86...yes these mirrors are motorized.

rEmixnZZa...my friend who owns his own car stereo shop did the wiring. All I can really tell you is that it isn't that hard. There is only 3 wires you have to woek with. When you have the door panel off just hook up the power mirrors and do a little troubleshooting. That's all it takes. Sorry I can't be more help.

KitsJAG5254...insructions hmmm making this hard on me. The mirrors are not that close to stock as some say. One of the 3 hole line up properly. 2 of them are close but the hole needs to be larger. If you don't have the right tools, save yourself a headache and some time and take it to a shop. That's what I did. I used my friends auto shop and made the install a piece of cake because he had air tools. just drill next to the hole and there's a bit he used to make the hole larger. Do this twice on each side and you're pretty much done. there is a foam piece that provides insulation to the stock mirrors that needs trimming. just take a razor and cut some foam. If you need me to elaborate on anything just let me know.

Ram...I got the same one's. Blue anti-glare tint and white paintable with orange LED. Glad you like them.

rEmixnZZa...My LED's are orange. You can't change them. You're pretty much stuck with what you have.

Thanks for the positive and negative feedback guys!

The only reason why I got them was because of the LED also. They make the car look more pimp and luxurious. It's also something new that not too many people have tried. Uniqueness is the key. I was also thinking about the SL-R mirrors but didn't think they would look good. Like you said I'm sure they look fine with a body kit. But I just can't get a feel for that style. This is one of those mods where if you have them on you like them but if you've never had it you won't be disappointed either.

Since I've had the mirrors on I've had more complements on my car in a looooooooong time. And when they give me complements they almost always say something about the mirrors. They just come up and say "hey that's a CL right? I've never seen a CL with those mirrors. Looks tight". And that reasures me that I made a good decision putting the mirrors on.

filipina..

sup guys.. hehehe.. isn't she cute? oh well.. let me tell you a story (true story) since i have some time..

her name is Meg Reyes and we went to the same school (6th grade) when I was still in the Philippines. She's a good friend of mine I had a huge CRUSH on her.. hehehe.. WHO WOULDN't?? Unfortunately my family had to move here so we don't get to talk much a lot.. last time I talked to her was when I went back to Philippines this past 2001 (summer).. man was I suprise to see her because she was more beautiful than the last time I saw her.... move on move on.. well now she's a model and an actress in the Philippines.. we're still talking but rarely due to her busy schedule.. and she has a BOYFRIEND already.. but we're still good friends so it's aight.. THE END.. hehe.. sorry for the boring true story.. anyways I'm doing that same mod man soon.. thanks again..

I'd kill her boyfriend and sweep her off her feet. O well she sounds like a keeper. So yeah, make sure you keep staying in touch with her.
