Which exhaust?

I'm getting the comptech headers soon and I really don't want an exhaust but know I should get one for the headers to work efficiently. Which is the best exhaust and also that's quiet? Thanks!

Just change out the muffler if your not too down for switching out the whole exhaust. Leave in the resonator, and MABEY, jsut switch out the rear piping.

APEX'i N1 mufffler. it's not that loud, and if you feel like, you can always stick a silencer in the end of it. thats just my reccomendation tho.

OBX makes boomers that already come with a silencer that muffles the sound like you won't believe. That is always an idea.

i have the greddy SP exhaust and it sound good. nice deep sound but not annoying at highway speeds. Its more of a low hum. Even tho my muffler says "trust" its still a greddy. Trust is JDM.

this is exactly what i'm looking for deep loud but not too loud u know? Now these applications that u guys have here; do u have your resonator still in? I wish theres a way to hear these. Also since they are just mufflers they will work with a 3.0 right? beacuse they're just gonna be bolted on to custom piping 2.5" for me. Thanx guys.

These headers will work effeciently w/poout spending $$$ on exhaust or mufflers...

Comptech would make them if they would help... Even on the Type-S they say the mufflers only give 2-5hp at $600... and they say the cat backs are usless also, unless you have a high output motor, which we definitely dont!

DC and greddy exhausts are not to loud but are cat backs only . they come with resonators which smooths out the tone. If u want a muffler only than i suggest u get a apex N-1 or DUNK and leave the factory resonator in the mid section on to smoothen and dampin the sound a lil or else it would be loud. Then u can just weld it on. If price is ur concern i would go with the APEX world sport. They are under 500 for the complete system.

Well shucks my friend got custom piping and an exhaust for $200 all the work done for him. Its a Universal Fireball style muffler. Did it for sound more than performance.
