I know all of you are going to refer me to somewhere else, but i just need some basic info. just bought a sub in a box, i need to buy the amp, the lady was saying to buy the amp with the rca inputs, but does the stock bose stereo have rca out??? what would be the easieast way to hook up the amp and sub to the existing stereo without ripping to much stuff out. is there an easy way to hook up the amp to the two back speakers??

 

you can always unplug the wires and stick them into the speaker... but i would get an amp with RCA outs. there is a conversion that you can buy that costs about 80 bucks and you can get you bose hea to run the RCA's.

what i would do is just get an aftermalet headunit for under 200 bucks and that comes with RCA outs. then you can get rid of the blowz stereo.

also ask the guys in the audio section of the forum.

 

Dont hook up the subs to the rear speaker wires...that shit is ghetto, end up blowing the shitty amp inside the head unit too....get a head unit aftermarket of course that is inexpensive and that produce 4v on the preouts...better sound all around even the stock speaks...biggest investment is the head unit...
