good Lord there are some ugly ass cl's on ebay. i just typed in acura cl and got about 20 pages of stuff. i found a 97 cl on 22's with HUGE flames down the side. why do some people just demolish such a nice car

why....... because somebody out there thinks its cool........ thats all it is, whats going on in the biger crowds, our 1st gen enthusiast group, or ANY true car enthusiast group is totally outspoken when it comes to modifications, like us we like to keep it LOOKING as stock as possible on the outside, I mean there are those few things that will be fine like mufflers, and bullet holes 
here and there.
but for the majority for me I see CLs plain and stock, and I mean BONE STOCK, in my city there are probably id say 5 or 10 [or so] 1st gens, only 2 are modified of any sort by enthusiasts, weve got my 2.2 and another track day beast of a gutted 3."0"
..... both of which on the outside look like plain old black 1st gens
either way its all the doing of that Fast n' the furious crap, too many of them to even try to stop, so personally ive stopped thinking about it all together, its a headache I dont need
