Dropped the CL today

Purchased some neuspeed sport 55.20.13 springs on ebay and had the energy to install them myself. Fronts were somewhat easy the rear were another story. Never got the lower strut bolts out so I installed the springs with the rear struts on the car. Just dropped the upper control arm released all bushing tension and they fell low enough to compress the spring and wiggle them out. The new sring went in easier than getting the oem spring out. Not so bad of an install if using the existing struts. Gonna change the struts another day though. Not looking forward to then rear lower strut bolts though. Car drives straight as an arrow but I will get an alignment after replacing the struts.

4x4 version. Snow added for realism.

Dropped 1.75"

My previous cl (RIP) with the same set up.

Looks good, neuspeeds provide a nice drop, a lil more than prokits which is good.

Looks good. The lower shock bolts are absolute hell. I bought new ones when I lowered my car. Coilovers are going on soon and I swear to god if these ones are already seized after 1 year, you'll see my car in the Black Market.

Drop looks good! Ah the infamous shock bolts. Those were quite a pain. Worth the trouble though!

Thanks. I am very happy with the drop and the ride is nice. I do have squeak in the left front that I will have to look into. Other than that the best $150 I spent in a while.

Here is a better pic lowered with the new wheels on the car. Getting the car back to the way I want it. Just a little paint work and window tint left to do and I will be happy.
