Clock/Radio Dash Issues
Clock/Radio Dash Issues
I had a strange thing happen to me today and I can't figure the cause of it.
I was attempting to reposition my speaker and proceeded to pull off the door panel. Everything was then reassembled but in starting the ignition, my headunit does not power and the clock only reads out half way, fading from left to right. The rest of my electrical system is fine; i.e. windows, lights, etc.
My best guess would be a loose connection have no clue where to begin to look. If someone could shed some light on this, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

that happened to me when u blew a fuse. Check ur fuse box in ur enigine bay like "back up radio" or "clock. Im about 99% shure. I blew the fuse by turning my radio up all the way. Mt radio didnt work, clock was faded too. Check all fuses. hope this helps.
ilike2cheez,
I was hoping someone had this problem before and hats off to you for the help. Just went out and got me a couple 7.5 amp fuses and its all good. I cannot thank you enough.... driving without my stereo is just plain boring. Thanks for helping a fellow CL'er out.

This was the answer I was going to give you in my PM, but I thought it wasn't something that simple.

Like I wrote, I don't know much about the electrical system.

Did you get your alarm to "beep"?
