CL 2.3 or V6 Auto

I used to have an Acura CL 2.2 it had pretty good power, Now I really want to get another one as soon as I get rid of my 99 Si. I was looking at the V6 version of the CL, Are there any known problems with the V6 version of the CL ? And also would it be worth turboing a 2.2 I dont want it to be mad fast or anything but i like the look of it and the blow off valve sound, Is it really a big hassle to tubo these cars ? Would it be worth supercharging the V6 version ?

The v6 is known for the auto trannies going bad, the f22 or f23 is a good motor to turbo on, and we've had a few members do it. Most people with the f-series motor opt to swap in an h22 and build on that since it's a better starting block. But the concensus on here is that the f22 or f23 is better to boost on because it has sleeved cylinders and better compression. The 3.0 is a great motor, the trannies are questionable. I plan to SC mine at some point, but not until I get my Dr Evil tranny to support the extra power

A turbo from a 94-97 accord should fit the 2.2 or 2.3 right ? If so how is the fitment of the turbo? And is there a hybrid f22 or f23 block with a h22 head ? Is this true ?

The Fmax turbo kit should fit just fine on a 2.2, on a 2.3 it might be tricky though because the header design is different i believe. And yes there is a hybrid, Its called a G22/23 depending if u have a 2.2 or 2.3. Plenty of threads on honda-tech among other places on that.

unlike u, he is 25, which means he probably has a far greater chance. so stop being rude. 3.0 is great, tranny sucks. thats the only issue i think that would prevent u from turbo/supercharge.
