Arrow Check out my SKILLZ YO

well two weekends ish i think ago my friend brought his car over so we could work on it. needless to say i ended up spending 10 hours doing this for him

well there are too many pictures so i am just going to direct you to my flickr page
ENJOY.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/25059081@N03/

on another note i started at 10 am on this and my friend left at 230 for work and did not return till 950 that night. so i take FULL CREDIT of this project and if i want i will steal it from him and sell it to you IF you have a 1991 VW GTi
COST 500$ thats for gas time and stealing from a friend LULZZZZZZZ

now it isnt perfect as this was my first time making such a custom box but i like how it turned out and it sounds amazing.

the amp that you see is the four channel for his highs and the sub amp is actually under the part with no subs it stays cool and looks so much nicer than having it on top.
just so you know he doesnt drive the car much since it doesnt run well, so the amp really doesnt get hot.

now i thought this day i would be helping his car fun better rather than installing shit into his car but to each his own i guess

on a sadder note i am more than likely selling my CL. i am trying hard to keep it as a daily but may just sell it for a bigger down payment on the car i plan on purchasing....thats if i can get the loan on my own. my parents wont cosign so we are trying this out by myself. any who i will not disclose what car it is but only thing i will say is its a 2003 and YELLOW. if you google that you will be able to find out exactly what car it is. personally i am going to miss the cl so thats why i am trying hard to keep it. but i will always stay here and not venture off to the forum of that cars choice. they are DBAGS!!!!!!

chris sorry about a week late on when i said i would post these but none the less they are here now.

what you guys think OR

Haha it's a good lookin' car. He's got tint, all the lights smoked, dropped like 3", BBS wheels, cams, exhaust, etc. I'll post some pics soon. It was honestly a spur of the moment thing, but that's how he is with all of his vehicles. He won't keep it for long I bet.

i change my mind alot.

im a guy who cant keep his mind set on a car or keep one for long. this car has been mine for the longest 2.5 years lol

its funny yes i know but i see my dad do the same thing and my mom as well so its kinda like its built into my dna

my dad has had 9 cars in 4 years my mom has had 4 in 4

now my dad has his toys so thats why he has had alot
1995 cobra R (still has)
1995 mustang convertable (still have)
2005 toyota tacoma (still have)
1975 vette (was his toy for years but sold it before i was born)
1997 M3 (weird choice he is an all muscle dude)

the list can continue thats all i can think of right now for him
my moms vehicles
2001 toyota camry
2007 lexus is 250
i cant think of any more for her either but thats my gene pool right there my family loves cars my uncle has three mini's all in restoration process

Nice GTI man! There's a kid around here that drives a yellow one, that same gen I'm pretty sure. They're awesome cars. This dude that my father works with always buys new VWs, and everytime I turn around, I swear he has a new GTI.

ok so recap. never had boost before and it is amazing, but my gas milage is poopie this tank. other than that this car is a dream to drive and deffinately has a mean growl.

and yes chris i live seriously like 10 min outside downtown butler. what brought you to my parts?

the cl is still my daily well haha kinda probably wont drive it till fall winter when this goes into hibernation. but if someone gives me a deal on it i might sell but probably wont just cause i love the cl its a rare car along with my GTI.

thanks for all the kind words guys ill have more pictures up soon of it probably sunday after i get back from VIRGINIA for my boys wedding. so again thanks and they will be up shortly
