Check the First digit of your VIN #

this might apply for some CL's because alot of honda accords and civics were made in Japan even being USDM. how because the first digit of the VIN # begin with J, most are 1 which means its made in America. this might sound stupid but its true. and ppl might think im crazy but im not. im just not sure if its like that for CL's. but everyone just check that out.

well since i work at a car dealership, i get to see alot of VIN #'s and i noticed it was weird that some of the first digits were J's. and theres actually about 5 USDM Civcs and Accords with that, so im assuming alot of them coulda been made overseas. i always thought 100% of all accords were made in Marysville and 100% of Civics were made in Canada.

Well people used to put CL lights on their Integra's.

I know that some V35 (?) Skyline Owners would badge their cars with Infiniti and stuff.

Really? Thats weird.

I've seen plenty of G35's down here rebadged as skylines - never thought it'd be the other way around in J-land.

you guys are focusing to much on the JDM?? say there was a small % (which there isnt) of 1st gen CL's made in Japan, that doesnt make it JDM, it would still be USDM.
