check engine light code 67

I just replaced my cat cause it was flaking apart on the inside and spitting shit out through my exhaust. About 30 minutes after I leave the shop my cel comes on. I paperclip it and i get code 67
"Catalyst Below Threshold" is this a sensor that I need to replace? anybody know what the problem is?

That cel means your cat is not doin its job. I'd just reset your ecu and hope it doesn't happen again.

damn right take it back - right now or they will claim (as all repair places do) that they had nothing to do with it

i don't think they would give u that non of their business crap... u had a prob with the cat.. u brought it to the shop and they actually physically remove it and put a new one up there... then all of sudden ur getting a code that points the prob to the cat...

so... def take it back and have them fix it! If something is damaged it is their fault they should pay if not.. sue them...

Well I took my car back to the place and they said that they have never had a faulty cat (to which I thought they must be full of shit) and they tried to tell me that the cel was because I had a bad O2 sensor to which I replied that I had already looked up the cel and told them that it was the cat. After arguing with the mechanic for 15 minutes I said fuck it and went to the dealer down the street. The dealer hooked it up to an exhaust flow meter and showed me that I had a bad cat and he even printed out the readings he took. With the readings in hand I went to the muffler place and shoved it in the managers face. Needless to say I now have a new cat absolutely free and no more cel.
