Car won't start, battery problem?
My 97 CL starts to giving me problems now.
Today, the car won't start at first try. While turning the key, the car starts making continuous "tsi tsi..." sound. And all the LED indicators on the dash are flashing fast. I have to turn the key to the right end and hold there for seconds for the car to start. And sometimes even that won't help.
I am thinking maybe the battery needs to be changed, since the car is on Freeway every week day. And maybe the battery was dead sometime during night, cause my radio asks for code now. But the alarm is always working, so it might not be the battery.
Since I know very little about cars, this is the stupid question. Do you guys think I should get a new battery or the hard to start problem is something else, like I need a fluid exchange, or a new spark plug?

If it's not a battery or alternator issue, you might want to check into the ignition recall: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...gnition+recall
Your 1997 Acura CL is included in the Ignition Recall.
That is the message I got as soon as I put my vin into acura.com.
You guys are great. Thanks!
Now I have to schedule a trip to the dealer. I hope they could enter the code for my radio too.
