Voiding warranty
Voiding warranty
I know that this may hav been asked before but I was unable to find any information on it. My question is, what voids an extended warranty? I ahve heard that nothing voids the warranty, but if they find out that the aftermarket part caused the defect, then they just won't cover that repari. Is that correct, Someone help me before I screw myself over(not literally)
Thanks in advance

If any aftermarket part is the sole cause for failure, then it isn't covered by Warranty Gold's aftermarket warranty. Anything else that is allegedly covered by the warranty is still valid.
I have Warranty Gold and that is their policy, so just make sure you know what is covered by your warranty company before you have a problem.

Yeah you would be protected under the magnuson moss act that basically states that if they can't prove the aftermarket part was at total fault for the part to fail, then the warranty is still in tact. If they can prove that it was the aftermarket parts fault, then the warranty for that part is gone.
