What type of interior speakers would you recomend. I love MB Quart, but the Qseries are too expensive for me. I need the best sound quality for the buck. 6 1/2 components for the front and all way 6x9 for the rear. I have a 2 chanel and a 4 chanel Alpine V12. I plan on in stalling 2 JL 10" W3...

Honestly just save the $ for the front speakers...if you are putting in subs you wont' really be able to hear the 6" X 9" in the back...so just use all of your speaker money to buy some nice ass front speakers..Depending on how much money you have...I would recommend Focal or CDT component speakers...

Excatly what everyone else has said, if you can't afford Q-series, then get these MB Quart Site they are alot cheaper and they sound good. I really think you should save for the Q's though. They are the really the best I have heard.

utopia's are the best, i have heard just about every one on the market in the past 5 years. i would rate the mbq q series 2nd to the utopias, then the older cd technologies comps third.

A lot of people are suggesting MB Quart's but I have to disagree. I'd have to say the best bang for your buck would be Diamond Audio Hex series. I've demo'ed both back to back and my opinion is that the DA are hands down better.
I got some MB Quart's a couple years ago, and the tweeters didn't sound right to me. They were almost piercing. Everyone has their own tastes and the best thing for you to do is to listen to the different makes before you buy.
Infinity Kappas
I am sold on the Infinity Kappas due to their high sound quality... and the fact that they are priced wayyyy below some of the brands you all are talking about... peace..
I really dont want to spend the money on MB Quart so I could imagine the cost on the Utopia's or the Polykevlars. I would love to be able to afford it but I need the money for lots of other things. My car is only 1 of my expensive hobbies. I know some of you guys could relate to that.
I think I might go for the Kappa's. I heard that the 6x9 Kappa's are made big, do they fit in the stock hole without cutting???
This guy is trying to sell Kenwood eXcelon components on me, what do you think about those?

Noooooooooo
Stay away from Kenwood.... I have the inifinty kappa 6x9s & 6.5 components here ready to be installed... once I get my indash DVD, IKESOUND on ebay sells infinity stuff pretty cheap, check around locally though to avoid shippping cost on a heavy speaker.... I got my 10" infinity kappa subs at a local stereo shop for $70 each.
Thanks ChrisKelly, That is exactly where I was going to get the Kappa's from. I just have to wait until the radio I want comes out, it is not even offered yet. I know you said to stay away from Kenwood but they make great headunits. I understand if you say stay away from there speakers but Kenwood radios are very good and respectabel. The headunit I want is "Kenwood eXcelon KDC X959"

i sell car audio for a livin so i've heard a few different speakers. just like some one posted earlier, you should listen to them yourself coz you may like the sound of somethin else. as for some good front components i'd say boston or infinity. the bostons are alot brighter in the mid to high end. the infinity's are warmer and have more mid bass. if you want under $250 check out the new alpine type r comps. they sound hella good and really efficient..... plus ur already runnin some alpine!
well, to each their own.. i disagree with many of you about SQ of some of the speakers listed.. I guess it dsepends on how sensitive to sound you are and how music savvy you are... It is personal preference at this point... hear the makes out and choose what soothes your ear....
Casper, definitely to each his/her own. The type of music you listen to also plays a huge role in choosing speakers. Quart tweets are still too piercing for me and I don't really like the crossover points. You guys with the Kappas said they have good midbass response?
