well i have been whinning about how my clutch feels like shit and how the car wasnt shifting fast ... it seemed to be hanging inbetween gears.... was vaccuming the ride and noticed that the floormatt on the drivers side was kinda puffed up by the clutch ... pressed the clutch down and sure enough it was catchin the floor mat!!!!! making it release slow !!!!!! took her for a drive and shes back to normal!!!

Please tell me you're kidding. I was hoping this wasn't a common problem in CL sticks cause at least one other person had similar problems on your original thread. Turns out to be your floor mat...

 

i have had that problem before but i found out right away what it was.

 

I was driving to work this morning and actually looked down to make sure my floormat wasn't obstructing my clutch. Maybe we should address this "problem" to Acura

 

I wish i had a clutch to worry about

 

They need to have a little hook for the floormat to fit onto like on other cars. That way it never moves around...

 

nope not kiddin ... i couldnt belive it at first thats why i played with the clutch and yup it sure was hittin it! gotta love dem floor matts

That's pretty funny considering we've all been posting in bad clutch threads sounding like martyrs. I have to go check mine out!
