That would be HOT!!! I would love to do that to my 2.3 CL. Is that link just for the V6??? Or will it work with the 5spd 2.3?

i looked at the v6performance.net but i didn't get it.
look really hard.

i don't know it will work for 5-speed because you have to push clutch to start engine.
but s2000 is all 6-speed.

You can always bypass the clutch.

remove the clutch saftey switch.... I did it on my 240sx.. You can wire it to the ebrake also, so the car wont start unless the ebrake is up... So its still safe. Good luck

i haven't researched this much, but i would guess that if you tied into the right wires you would need to have the clutch pushed in in order to start the car just like it is now. or like sideways 240sx said just bypass it. but i would be afraid of forgetting to push the clutch in and learching the car into some solid stationary object.

That article about installing the S2000 switch from v6p.net was soooo ghetto...

The only pushbutton start I think is cool is the Mercedes Keyless Go.

How the remote car starters work with a clutch then... seems to me if there is a model remote car starter for our car (one with the security bypass module which requires the chip from your key) one could modify it to a start button from inside of the car.

Then not even a key would be needed and all of the security features will still be intact.
