i am hooked on the idea of painting my car brown

Color is pretty subjective, but I vote NOT. Way too 70s.

Only a 350Z could pull that color off IMO.
I don't think that color would look to good on a CL.

Whats wrong with your black paint? just alot of scratches/dings, or you just hate washing it? I wouldn't paint it unless your paint is bad. Or if you have mad hookups.

 

What about root beer color? My friend hot his del sol painted that color and it doesn't look that bad.

How about brown with big ass metal flake. Then mabee like... a big cross airbrushed on the side.... with a snake hanging off of it. and behind all that abraxas as pictured on the santana cover art. Oh yeah... All kidding aside kinda a dark copper sort of color sounds nice.

Have any of you guys seen the gold/brown crx that was on the cover of import tuner a few months ago? "the golden child" they called it. Thats the only shade of brown that I have ever liked. It had the sickest flake too tho. I also saw it in person in SD

I think the CL looks best in red... but then again I’m a little partial to that color . Black is a hot color too though I have to say that. even green looks nice. I'm not gonna say hot or not on brown because i'd have to see it first. but hey if you wanna do it, do it. You'd be the only brown CL odds are lol.

what can brown do for you? haha.. mayb a light copper brown if anything, but odd's are you wont pull it off for my liking... but GL if you do.

I had a brown Toyota Corolla some years back. It was known as The Turd.

you need to pick a color that will bring out the lines in the car...i've been thinking about a gunmetal or dark navy....perhaps even a blue w/ purple pearl...not for my car...just thinking in general

 

i would never repaint my car, and if i did it would be the same exact color

Brown is one of my favorite colors...go for it. A sienna with a heavy gold clear coat over it...sweet like...em...ah....chocolate!
