Brembo crossed/drilled rotors vs. factory rotors

for all of those CL'ers out there that have experienced both brembo crossed/drilled rotors and factory (stock) rotors, which will you recommend? i've to make my decision as soon as possible so that the mechanic can fix my car.

please give me your honest opinions and feedbacks. i'll like to know the advantages and disadvantages. thank guys!

this is the brembo crossed/drilled rotors that's one of my options.

i have the slotted/x-drilled rotors with axxis organic pads and they are the best factory replacement brakes i have experienced.

cheaper than stock brakes and rotors too.

I have brembo x-drilled with axxis pads from the group buy a few months ago. They were noticably better at first but the rotors have warped just as the stock ones did, but that was after a lot of high speed braking. Definately go with the drilled.

Has anyone tried the Brembo blanks? Do they resist warping any better than others. The ones on my car now are not warped but the last ownwer let the pads get into them and left some grooves. I've been thinking about blanks when I get pads next.

Heard lots of positive comments about their rotors. However, I wasn't able to get a definite answer if they actually made rotors for our cars as they aren't listed on Rotora's fitment guide. Lots of 2nd gen guys have them and love then. I wanted a pair, but I needed them like the next day and most places said two freakin weeks to get them even shipped out.

I would STAY AWAY from any Brembo rotor that is cross drilled and slotted. This was NOT done by Brembo (they DO NOT make a drilled AND slotted rotor) and seriously compromises the integrity of the rotor! Only buy the factory drilled or slotted Brembo rotors!

I went with a solid set of Bendix rotors, they are def a step up from stock (not really cheap tho). Got them the next day with no cost to me too.

It's all about the pads = Hawk HPS!

DO NOT BUY EBC!

It doesn't matter. You're not going to the track so you don't have to worry about your rotors cracking. If you were doing laps, drilled rotors crack easy. Get X-drilled and slotted, they look pimp.

What would you get sloted or drilled. I heard drilled has a higher chance of cracking. The Cl needs rotors badly each time I press on the brakes it hella vibrates. probably going with rotora. What do you think is a fair price for them?

iRotors is also a really good company. Make sure you get their axis semi-metallic metal master pads.

get a sport one the normal ones will wear quickly because they the brake pad surface is literally getting cut up since the rotot is drilled and slotted.
